HALOGEN CASHMERE SWEATER // KUT FROM THE KLOTH JEANS // GOODWILL JACKET // ALBERTA DI CANIO BAG (OLD, similar expensive one; similar cheap one) // LIPKIT BY KYLIE COLOR: POSIE K // T.J. MAXX PEARL EARRINGS // DISCOUNTGLASSES.COM GLASSES // VINTAGE HERMES WATCH // OPI NAIL COLOR: I’M FEELING SASHY
I hope everyone is doing well this lovely weekend! It’s been a hot second since I’ve posted on here, and I’m so excited about this outfit. Shockingly enough, it’s quite the combination of semi-expensive items and *extremely* cheap, thrifted items.
Both the Hermes watch and the Alberta Di Canio bag were purchased second hand off eBay. They are quality statement pieces that I return to time and time again. In fact, I think that Hermes watch is worn most out of everything in my jewelry box. However, the large, tan Alberta Di Canio bag was something I impulsively bought for next to nothing and knew when I purchased it that I would rarely use it. I pull it out a few times a month, but wouldn’t have payed for pull price for it; I just don’t have that many occasions to use such a large handbag, even if it is beautiful Italian leather.
The jacket, however, was purchased at my local goodwill for about $3! I loved the way it fit, and I always have the hardest time finding petite jackets. (Why are sleeves always so long?!) It has no tag on the inside, so they’ve either been removed or it was made by a tailor.
Either way, the point it: all of these are key pieces in my wardrobe that I waited for and found great deals on. Don’t rush out one day and try to find everything you need for your wardrobe in the clearance section. It just wont happen. Keep waiting and searching, and you will find exactly what you want!

Good advise! Love the look! $3 for a blazer, what a deal. It looks great on you. You are brave to buy things off EBay. I always wonder if people are being honest, especially when you are spending a little more on something. The bag looks like a wonderful buy even though you don’t use it often, Looks beautiful, as do you💕
Thanks Kathy! The wonderful thing about eBay is that if someone was dishonest about their description you can return items, but you’re right, it can be a hassle. Maybe you’d be more fortunate at a local resale shop? We’ll go together soon!
Your collections are always spot on. Great job! Love the bag. I’m totally a Mary Poppins girl myself.
So I’m going to England first part of April. I’m looking for a stylish, classic, fun waterproof jacket, raincoat, windbreaker. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Missy
Hi Missy! Thanks so much, my sweets! I’ve never been to England so I’m MEGA jealous, and I’m sure you’ll have the most wonderful time! I have three raincoats I love: a preppy yellow one, a classic beige trench coat, and one I just purchased as a souvenir from Ireland that is covered in vintage teal flowers! I think all have their place, so just take a look inside your closet and see what works best for you! (I think a neutral trench or one with a fun pattern would be great with all your cute clothes, Missy!) XO, Katy
